Now as in the past, if someone uses wood for burning and heating, they can use the ash to fertilise the garden. At one time, there were “Ash Houses” which would be emptied once a year and the ash would be transported away. The Ash Container then superseded the Ash House.
The ash from burnt out incense cones fits perfectly into a miniature ash can. If one places a drilled incense cone on the lid, this will close automatically when the cone has burnt out. Cones without the hole can be used inside the can separately. The lid of the can is removeable for e.g., cleaning purposes. The Ash Can’s stainless steel construction also makes it the perfect receptacle for the occasional drop of something pleasantly bracing! The shovel, matches and incense cones are stored in the lower section of the can and are readily accessible.
A decent size, with many functions to be explored: “De Aschtonne“.
